Guest Policies and RV Resort Guidelines

These guidelines help keep Settlers Point Luxury RV Resort safe, clean, and enjoyable for every guest. Please review them before your arrival. By staying with us, you agree to follow these rules and any reasonable updates made by management.

Please read our rules and conditions carefully. We hope every guest enjoys their stay. Adhering to these Resort Rules of Stay will enhance that experience. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, for any reason, at the discretion of management.

The goal of Settlers Point Luxury RV Resort is to provide each guest with a relaxing, fun, family-oriented experience. To ensure all guests’ safe enjoyment of our facilities, please read and follow the guidelines below. 

Reservations and cancellations

Deposit

A 20% deposit is non-refundable. 

Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours (3 days) before the day of arrival or you will be charged the full reservation amount.

All monthly stays have a cancellation fee of at least $100. 

Refunds

RVing is an outdoor experience. No refunds or credits will be provided due to the discomfort of nature, including heat, windstorms, hail, or heavy rain. 

Early departures

No refunds or credits will be made for early departures or evictions.

There is no penalty when making changes prior to arrival.

Once a guest arrives on-site, cancellations or changes cannot be made in order to receive a partial or full refund.

Early termination of a booking is subject to payment in full once the guest has checked in. 

Extended stay notice

For extended stay guests, Settlers Point requires 30 days notice prior to departure. If notice is not provided, 20% of the following month’s rent will be forfeited. 

No-show policy

Reserved sites will be held for your occupancy until 11:00 AM the day after your scheduled arrival.

If you have not arrived by that time, or communicated with the resort about your arrival plans, you will be responsible for the full amount of the stay with no refund given, and your site will become available for booking by another guest. 

RV policy

  1. All recreational vehicles must be currently registered, maintained in good condition, and in running order.
  2. Settlers Point Luxury RV Resort must approve any RV that is 10 years old or older prior to making reservations. Email info@settlerspointluxuryrvresort.com or text 435-236-7458 for approval.
  3. No RV deemed to be in poor condition will be allowed in the resort. Examples include broken or cracked windows, flat tires, heavy rust, severe dents, units needing paint, or units that are extremely unkept or excessively dirty.
  4. Approved recreational vehicles include Class A, Class B, and Class C motor coaches, fifth wheels, hard-sided travel trailers, and toy haulers.
  5. Cab-over truck campers with full hookups are allowed.
  6. All RVs must be leveled and supported with proper equipment when located on an RV site. 

Flag display policy

American flags and U.S. military service flags are welcome. Political or other flags are not permitted. 

Occupancy

The maximum number of people allowed per site is eight (8), including children. 

Speed limit

The speed limit is 5 mph. We have guests of all ages. Please drive slowly and watch for pedestrians. 

Smoking and vaping

Settlers Point is a no smoking facility.

Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere on resort property. Failure to follow this rule will result in a $100 fine and/or being asked to leave the property. 

Packages and deliveries

We welcome the opportunity for you to receive packages during your stay.

UPS and FedEx deliver directly to your site. USPS delivers to the office.

You may receive letters and packages during your stay. Do not have your mail forwarded via USPS. 

Parking

A maximum of three (3) drivable vehicles are allowed per site, including motorhomes.

Do not park in empty sites. If you do, you may be charged the daily rate.

Parking on the street inside the resort is prohibited. 

General rules

  1. Fireworks, paintball, and airsoft guns are prohibited.
  2. One pop-up shade structure is allowed per site. It must be secured so that it does not blow away and cause damage.
  3. Do not wash your RV or other vehicles with on-site water. Check with the office for phone numbers of mobile detailers.
  4. One RV per site. No tents are allowed.
  5. Please be courteous and do not walk through other guests’ sites.
  6. Disrespecting or threatening staff members will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave the resort immediately and no refund will be given. 

Amenities

  1. Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult in all areas, including the outdoor amenities, the comfort station, and the clubhouse. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult at the pool at all times.
  2. No glass containers of any kind are allowed in the pool area.
  3. Children under 5 are not permitted in the hot tub at any time (per Utah State Code).
  4. Any child who is not fully potty trained is required to wear a swim diaper.
  5. Skates, skateboards, scooters, e-bikes, and bicycles are not permitted on the pickleball courts or the greens.
  6. Urinating, discharge of fecal matter, spitting, or blowing the nose in the swimming pool is prohibited and may result in expulsion and pool closure until the water has had time to be disinfected. If you notice any water quality concerns, please notify us immediately.
  7. Please do not lean on the pickleball nets. It loosens the fibers and can damage the net. No food or gum on the pickleball or basketball court. 

Comfort station and laundry

  1. Pets are not allowed in the bathrooms or laundry rooms.
  2. Do not wash pet bedding in the washers.
  3. Please shut the doors upon exiting the comfort station restrooms so they lock.

Settlers Point does not own the laundry machines. They are owned and serviced by Reliable Laundry Service, and any issues should be reported to them. 

Pets

  1. Pets must be well-behaved, on a leash, and with the owner when outside.
  2. Pets should never be left outside alone.
  3. Owners must immediately pick up pet waste after their pets, including at the dog park. There are seven (7) pet stations in the resort for your convenience. Failure to do so will result in a $25 fine.
  4. Pet gear and bedding may not be washed in the resort washers and dryers. A $100 fine will be imposed if this rule is violated. Security cameras are on-site.
  5. Pets must not interfere with the peace and quiet of other guests and are required to be kept inside from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  6. Pets must not be left alone inside for long periods. If you need to leave all day, please consider a pet boarding service.
  7. If your pet has loose stools, please do not take them into the dog park.

Settlers Point is not liable for any pet injury on the property. We do have two (2) small resort cats on property to help with rodents. 

Utility trailers

Utility trailers are not permitted on your site if they are unsightly.
